A merino hoodie has to balance warmth, breathability and drape. Because Apex Apparels develops and knits its own fabric, we can build the exact structure a hoodie needs rather than adapting a stock textile. We work in interlock, fleece-backed jersey, double knit, rib and waffle textures in 200–320 GSM, using 16.5–19.5 micron superfine merino for a soft, non-itchy hand feel against the neck and wrists.
Styles span pullover hoodies, full-zip and half-zip technical mid-layers, relaxed lifestyle hoodies and kids' hoodies. We can blend merino with Tencel for drape, nylon or polyester for durability and shape retention, or organic cotton for a softer, more casual look. Details include ribbed cuffs and hem, drawcord hoods, kangaroo pockets, concealed pockets, and branded labels, embroidery and prints through our audited finishing partners.
Every hoodie programme is built on the same certified foundation: Woolmark, RWS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, GOTS and Sedex, with AQL 1.5 inspection before packing. All cut-and-sew production is 100% solar powered.
