Merino Wool Leggings Factory
Base layer bottoms, training tights and kids' leggings in superfine merino — End to End process managed under one roof in Gurugram, India.
Leggings are the most demanding knit in the wardrobe: they need stretch, recovery, opacity and next-to-skin comfort at the same time. Because Apex Apparels knits and dyes in-house, we build the fabric to those four targets rather than picking the closest stock quality. We knit rib, jersey and interlock in 16.5–19.5 micron superfine merino, blended with nylon or recycled polyester and elastane where four-way stretch and shape retention are required.
The range spans thermal base layer bottoms and long johns, high-waist training tights, 7/8 and full-length leggings, ski and alpine thermals, everyday athleisure tights and baby and kids' leggings. Waistbands can be wide bonded, elasticated, drawcorded or covered-elastic for infant styles, with hidden key pockets and side panelling as needed.
Fit and finish are validated before bulk: opacity checked at stretch, gusseted crotch panels, flatlock or bonded seams to remove pressure points, and low-torque finishing so side seams stay straight through wash cycles. Merino adds thermoregulation and natural odour resistance across a wide temperature range. All production is Woolmark, RWS, OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and Sedex certified, AQL 1.5 inspected, in a 100% solar-powered facility.

Questions Buyers Ask Us
- What merino leggings do you manufacture?
- Base layer bottoms and long johns, high-waist training tights, 7/8 and full-length leggings, thermal ski leggings, everyday athleisure tights, and baby and kids' leggings — in pure merino and merino blends.
- How do you get stretch and recovery in merino leggings?
- By engineering the blend and knit together: merino with nylon or recycled polyester plus elastane, knitted as rib, jersey or interlock and tested in our fabric lab for stretch, recovery and dimensional stability before bulk.
- Are your leggings squat-proof and non-sheer?
- We set GSM, yarn count and knit density to your opacity target and confirm it on approved prototypes, with gusseted crotch panels and flatlock or bonded seams for coverage and comfort in motion.
- Can you make merino leggings for babies and children?
- Yes. Baby and kids' leggings in superfine merino and merino–organic cotton blends, with flat seams, covered elastic and OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified inputs for sensitive skin.
- What are your leggings lead times?
- Typically 6–8 weeks from tech pack to approved prototype including fabric development, then 8–12 weeks for bulk depending on quantity and finishing.
