Merino Wool Underwear

Merino Wool Underwear Manufacturer

Soft, breathable merino wool underwear engineered in our own fabric lab — End to End process managed under one roof in Gurugram, India.

Underwear is the ultimate next-to-skin test for merino. If the micron is too high or the finish is wrong, the wearer feels it immediately. Apex Apparels knits and finishes its own fabric, so every merino underwear programme starts with yarn selection and knit engineering rather than an off-the-shelf textile. We run 16.5–19.5 micron superfine merino in lightweight single jersey and fine rib, typically 150–200 GSM, for a soft, stable hand feel that stays comfortable through long days and repeated washing.

Our range covers men's briefs and boxers, women's briefs and bras, boy shorts, tank tops, camisoles and thermal underlayers. We can add Lycra or elastane for stretch and recovery in form-fitting pieces, and we offer merino blended with organic cotton, Tencel or nylon for different performance and price points. Seams are flatlocked or coverstitched to remove pressure points, and waistbands are engineered for comfort and shape retention.

Every order runs under the same certified system as the rest of our factory: Woolmark, RWS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, GOTS and Sedex, with AQL 1.5 inspection before packing. Production is 100% solar powered.

Frequently Asked

Questions Buyers Ask Us

What merino wool underwear does Apex Apparels manufacture?
We produce men's briefs and boxers, women's briefs and bras, boy shorts, tank tops, camisoles and thermal underlayers — all in superfine merino and certified merino blends.
Why is merino wool good for underwear?
Superfine merino is naturally soft, breathable, moisture-wicking and odour-resistant. It maintains a stable microclimate against the skin, making it ideal for next-to-skin underwear and base-layer underwear sets.
Which fabric weights and knits do you use for underwear?
Lightweight single jersey and fine rib for close-fitting styles, typically 150–200 GSM, in 16.5–19.5 micron merino. We can add Lycra or elastane for stretch and recovery in form-fitting pieces.
Are your merino underwear fabrics certified?
Yes. We hold Woolmark, RWS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, GOTS and Sedex certification, and we are an Affiliate Supply Chain Partner for Woolmark and The Zentatra Wool Company.
What are your lead times for merino underwear?
Typically 6–8 weeks from tech pack to approved prototype including fabric development, then 8–12 weeks for bulk depending on quantity and finishing.
