Merino Wool Shorts Factory
Running, training, hiking and lounge shorts in technical merino — knitted, dyed and sewn in our own vertically integrated facility in Gurugram, India.
Shorts are a high-abrasion, high-movement category, so the fabric has to be built for it. Because we knit and dye in-house, a shorts programme begins with blend and structure selection rather than whatever a mill has in stock. We engineer merino with nylon or recycled polyester for tensile strength and quick drying, add elastane where four-way stretch and recovery are needed, and knit terry or interlock for lounge and sleep styles.
The range covers lined and unlined running shorts in 3", 5" and 7" inseams, training and gym shorts, bike shorts, hiking shorts, lounge and sleep shorts, and kids' styles. Waistbands, liners, gussets and pocketing are all built here: elasticated or drawcord waistbands, brief and boxer liners, zip and drop-in pockets, reflective trims and bonded finishes.
Every construction detail targets durability in motion — flatlock seaming to remove chafe points, reinforced crotch gussets, bar-tacked stress points and low-torque finishing so panels don't twist. Merino brings natural odour resistance and thermoregulation that synthetic shorts can't match. All production runs under Woolmark, RWS, OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and Sedex certification with AQL 1.5 inspection, in a 100% solar-powered facility.

Questions Buyers Ask Us
- What kinds of merino shorts do you manufacture?
- Running and training shorts, lined and unlined 5" and 7" styles, hiking shorts, lounge and sleep shorts, bike shorts and kids' shorts — in pure merino and merino performance blends.
- Which fabrics suit merino shorts?
- Merino with nylon or recycled polyester for abrasion resistance, stretch recovery and quick drying; merino with elastane for four-way stretch; merino terry and interlock for lounge styles. We tune GSM and knit structure to the end use.
- Do you build waistbands, liners and pockets in-house?
- Yes. Elasticated and drawcord waistbands, brief and boxer liners, zip and drop-in pockets, gussets and reflective details are all part of standard cut-and-sew here.
- How do you stop merino shorts bagging out?
- Blend engineering plus low-torque finishing and controlled stretch recovery testing in our fabric lab, validated on approved prototypes before bulk so shape holds after repeated washing.
- What are your shorts lead times?
- Typically 6–8 weeks from tech pack to approved prototype including fabric development, then 8–12 weeks for bulk depending on quantity and finishing.
